This was a fun a simple card to make. I used a pre folded card. I then cut a piece of embossed paper from the embossed DCWV stack and took an old ink pad that was running out of ink and drug it all over the piece I cut so there is color where it is embossed. I then added a solid piece of cardstock from DCWV and added Make a Wish on it. I got the stamp from JoAnns in their dollar spots. I then just added a few little gem embellishments from Michaels.

Lovely Green Necklace
I made this necklace using green stone chips that I got from Brazos Collection in Georgetown, TX. It is where I buy all of my beads. They have the best selection. The green crosses are also from there. The chips were $3 and the crosses were $4. I used spacers in between the crosses and the chips. It is a great spring and summer necklace. I love to wear it to work and when I am out running errands.

Thank You Card #4
The solid cardstock is DCWV. The patterned paper is from an individual sheet by paper studio that I got from Hobby Lobby. The thank you stamp was from a set of foam stamps I got at Michaels. The gems are value pack gems from the jewelry department at JoAnns. This is a really simply yet beautiful card that you could make to say thank you. The part that took the longest is picking out what patterned paper I should use! Have a good day!

Card for anything
I used patterned paper from creative express. The pre folded card is from Craft Warehouse in Oregon. I stamped it with flowers from a rubber stamp I got from JoAnns. I then used pink buttons of different variety from different shops to decorate the card. I then stamped believe in miracles on the card with a stamp I also got from JoAnns. It is a very simple but cute card.

Hello Card
I love this simple card. I used 3 pieces of different patterned paper that I got out of a K and company stack. Then a solid piece of cardstock from DCWV placed through the middle. I then used large chipboard letters to say hello. I then added two little gems to add a little sparkle to finish this card out.

Simple card for a simple day
I made this card using the same type of pre-folded card I always do that I got from Craft Warehouse in Oregon. I then used ribbon from Joanns to tie around two pieces of cardstock. The solid is from DCWV and the patterned paper I have had for so long I am not quite sure where I got it.I used a file to give the solid cardstock a used look. The stamp is a clear stamp from the dollar bins at Michaels. Which if you haven't guessed yet is my favorite place to shop.
Also just an FYI Marshall's is selling DCWV stacks 8X8 for 3.99. Yep thats right, I didn't know they carried scrapbook supply either. Happy Hunting.

A lovely necklace for your Tuesday
This is a rather simple necklace to make that is great for a beginner. I used these lovely stone beads. I got them from Brazos collection in Georgetown Texas for $5. I used headpins inside the beads and connected them to decorative links in between each bead. It is similar to my previous post of a necklace. The clasp is also a S clasp that allows you to shorten or lengthen the necklace. It goes well with work attire or even with a basic summer tank top.

Happy Birthday Card 2
I love the cupcake stamp I used for this card! I got it from the dollar stamps at Michaels. It is great! The ribbon is from JoAnns and is a few years old. The pearl drops I got from Michaels that were left over from Easter. Which also means that I got them for next to nothing! The card is yet again from the stack I got from Craft Warehouse in Oregon. As for the patterned paper I really have no idea where it came from. It was the perfect size for this card. No cutting involved. The pink solid cardstock is from DCWV spring stack.

Blue/Green Shell Necklace
Today I thought I would take this blog in a little bit of a different direction. I am going to discuss the pieces I used and what I did to make this necklace. I used these lovely blue/green shell beads that I got at Brazos Collections in Georgetown Texas. If you live anywhere near here or are going to be driving through and love beads or jewelry I suggest you stop!! I got the strand for $1! The links that are in between I also purchased there for $1.68 for a package. I used headpins in the beads to connect them to the links. The clasp is not visible but it is just a simple S hook that I got online at firemountaingems.com I have found that S hooks are good for all age groups. I love this nacklace and because of the size of the beads I can actually change the length using the S hook.

Congratulations Card
I love how this card is a little bright! The patterned paper is from the spring stack of 2009 from DCWV. The solid cardstock is also from DCWV spring line. The flower ribbon is from the dollar area of Michaels. The silver dots are from stampingbella.com and the black gems are also from the dollar spot at Michaels. As for the stamp it was another great dollar stamp I got from JoAnns a few years back. I used a black card as the base so that the loud colors of the pattern paper would stand out.

Get Well Soon
Ooh I wish I could remember where I got the patterned paper from! I know it is from a stack I am just not sure which one. I used a grey cardstock to back the patterned paper against the white blank card. I used the same grey cardstock and stamped get well soon on it using a dollar stamp from JoAnn's. I then used a pair of shape scissors to add a decorative edge to the side. Then I highlighted with three little pearl drops that I got from stampingbella.com. Sometimes less is more....Enjoy!

Good Luck Card
Oooh I love this card! The grey patterned cardstock is from SEI Poppy paper stack. I am not sure where the other patterned paper came from. When I get stacks home I separate them into different containers so it's hard to remember what goes with what. The good luck stamp is a dollar stamp that I got from JoAnns a few years back. The flowers are from Michaels where I bought a prima flower container using a 40% off coupon. The brads are from Joanns and the little gems are from the dollar area at Michaels. And yet again I used a card from the stack I got from Craft Warehouse in Oregon.

You're my Cup of Cocoa Card
This is a great card I made while thinking of a friend. I used the cherry paper that was from the DCWV Farmers Market stack. I love this stack because it was made with recycled paper! It's always nice being a little green even when you didn't plan on it. The card was once again from my stack I got from Craft Warehouse in Oregon. The solid cardstock yet again is from DCWV. The accents such as the flower and the gems are from the dollar spot at Michaels. The brad I got from JoAnns. The stamp is a stampabilities stamp from Hobby Lobby. Enjoy! I know I did while making it!

Celebrate Card and my first post!
Okay so I made this card using cardstock from me&my big ideas Specialty stack A Beautiful Life. I got it on clearance at Michaels for a penny. That's right I typed penny. If it rings up they have to sell it. I was happy to say the least. The cardstock was cut to the size of my blank card. I got the blank card from Craft Warehouse in Oregon. It didn't have a name brand it was just a random pack of blank cards. I then used a clear stamp ($1 clear stamp sets at Michaels) that says "celebrate" on it to stamp on a small DCWV mat stack piece. The polka dot ribbon is also from Michaels in their dollar bins. I got it on sale after easter for 0.50! I then added some small rhinestone embellishments that I also got from Michaels dollar bins after Christmas for 0.30. I am a deal lady if you haven't figured it out yet. I love this card! I really enjoyed making it.
